peers.asia ("we", "us", "our") is operated by PeopleAcademy.io. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use and protect personal data for visitors, registrants and certified providers across Asia Pacific.

Data we collect

  • Registration data: name, email, phone, country, school/institution, school type, job title.
  • Payment data: processed by Stripe; we receive transaction status, not full card numbers.
  • Account data: hashed password, login timestamps.
  • Usage data: aggregated and anonymised analytics for the platform.
  • Contact form data: details you submit when enquiring.

How we use it

  • To process and confirm your certification registration.
  • To deliver the programme (cohort communications, materials, Zoom/Meet links).
  • To issue and verify certificates.
  • To list certified providers in the public directory (where you have opted in).
  • To respond to your enquiries.
  • To send programme updates (you may unsubscribe at any time).

Legal bases (regional)

We process personal data in line with applicable laws across our launch region, including Singapore PDPA, Malaysia PDPA 2010, Thailand PDPA 2019, Philippines Data Privacy Act 2012, Indonesia PDP Law 2022, Australia Privacy Act 1988, and New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. Where required, we rely on your explicit consent, the necessity of performing a contract with you, or our legitimate interests in running the programme.

Data sharing

We share limited data with carefully chosen processors: Lovable Cloud (Supabase) for database and authentication, Stripe for payments, and email infrastructure for transactional and programme emails. We do not sell your personal data.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; withdraw consent for marketing communications; and object to certain processing. Contact us at privacy@peers.asia and we'll respond within 30 days.

Retention

Registration and certification records are retained for the lifetime of your credential. Enquiry data is retained for up to 24 months after the last interaction.

Children

peers.asia is for professionals working with adolescents. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 directly through this site.

Updates

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users by email.
