1. About peers.asia

peers.asia is a platform operated by PeopleAcademy.io, an authorised off-site training partner of UCLA PEERS®. PEERS® is a registered trademark of the Regents of the University of California. PeopleAcademy.io is not affiliated with or an official representative of UCLA or the University of California beyond its authorised off-site training partner status.

2. Registration & eligibility

The School-Based certification is open to school-based professionals (educators, counsellors, school psychologists, SLPs, administrators, graduate students). You confirm you meet this eligibility at the point of registration.

3. Payment

Fees are stated in USD. Payment is due in full prior to the cohort start date, unless an instalment or invoice plan has been agreed in writing.

4. Refunds & transfers

  • Full refund: requests received more than 30 days before the cohort start date.
  • After 30 days: seats may be transferred to a colleague or deferred to a future cohort within 12 months.
  • No-shows on cohort day are not refundable.

5. Certification

Certification requires attendance for all three training days and successful completion of the in-session facilitation assessment. Certificates are issued within 7 days of cohort completion.

6. Use of the credential

Certified providers may publicly identify themselves as UCLA PEERS® School-Based Certified Providers, using their issued certificate number. The credential does not confer any right to deliver other PEERS® tracks (Young Adults, Preschoolers).

7. Intellectual property

PEERS® curriculum materials remain the intellectual property of the Regents of the University of California. Materials provided to certified providers may be used to deliver PEERS® groups under your credential and may not be redistributed.

8. Limitation of liability

peers.asia and PeopleAcademy.io provide the certification programme on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you have paid for the relevant cohort.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Disputes will be resolved in the Singapore courts unless local consumer law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
